Oregon Employment Law Update Seminar - Astoria
Lower Columbia Human Resources Management Association proudly presents "Oregon Employment Law Update" featuring Dylan Morgan, Oregon Bureau of Labor & Industries.
The Oregon legislature has had a busy year. With several new provisions of law now in place or coming online soon, it's time to make sure you know how these changes may impact your business.
Participants will come away with an awareness of the main festures of significant legislative changes to employment laws implemented in 2018 and impact these changes may have on employee management and the business' bottom line. Participants will become acquainted with resources available to businesses for constructively engaging these changes.
This session will place a particular emphasis on Pay Equity, but it will also provide an overview of changes to other Oregon law including EITC Notification, Oregon$aves, Janitorial Labor Contractors, Manufacturing Overtime and Predictive Scheduling.
Anyone with an interest in the topic is welcome to attend.
