The Fort George Brewery + Public House has resurrected the historic Columbia-Pacific community of Astoria, Oregon's brewing culture, while responding to the palates of the 21st century. In our eight and a half barrel ''Sweet Virginia'' brewery we use organic base malts, and the freshest, most locally obtainable ingredients. We consistently offer eight house taps in our pub, with rotating seasonal ales. We often brew outside of traditional categories, striving to create beer that stands out from the crowd.
The goal in the Fort George Brewery + Public House kitchen is to provide wholesome seasonal food for everyone to enjoy. We are proud to offer many hand-made items on our menu, which are prepared from scratch by our employees. The upstairs pub space features its own wood-fired menu and great views. Enjoy Sunday Night Live Music every week - never a cover. We hope that the fruits of our labor and love for food invite you to return again and again for many great meals, outstanding beers, and good company.
The Lovell Auto Building next door houses a 30-barrel ''Little Miss Texas'' production brewery, canning line, and Taproom. The Lovell Showroom has become a popular downtown exhibit hall and home to the Thursday Night Lecture Series. Tours of the brewery are offered every Saturday and Sunday at 1:00 and 4:00pm.
