Maintenance Technician

Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot various systems and equipment. This role is essential in ensuring that our facilities are maintained to the highest standards, providing a safe and efficient environment for all. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and improvements across our facilities. This position requires self motivation and prioritization of tasks. Duties Conduct regular inspections of buildings and equipment to identify maintenance needs. Perform repairs on mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. Perform unit turnovers in a timely manner. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff and residents. Interpret schematics and technical drawings to assist in troubleshooting issues. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report on completed tasks. All other daily apartment maintenance duties . Requirements Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems effectively. Familiarity with logic controllers and their applications in maintenance tasks is preferred. Proficiency in English for effective communication with team members and residents. Previous experience with CMMS is a plus. Leadership skills to guide small teams during projects or repairs. Ability to perform residential painting tasks competently. Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing technologies in maintenance practices. A valid driver’s license is required for travel between locations.
