About Us

Located in the light-filled space that once housed Michael Foster’s art gallery, West Coast Artisans is an eclectic, non-traditional gallery and gift shop featuring handmade goods from local artists and artisans. View a variety of art from Pacific Northwest artists. Pick up a unique, handmade gift for a special occasion, a special someone, or even yourself.

West Coast Artisans also houses a fine art printing service. Works of art can be scanned, digital files created, and prints made on high quality artist paper or canvas. Photographs can be touched up and/or restored as well. With our large format digital scanners, we can also scan and digitize blueprints and archived documents for storage and preservation.

A small collection of fossils and rocks was added during Covid along with unique stone gift items made by artisans from around the world. The custom embroidery service has expanded to include customizing shirts and hats for businesses in the Pacific Northwest along with the creation of specialty items unique to a specific shop. Alteration services have also been added for simple things like hemming pants.

Janet Hutchings has established her working studio in the space. Not only does she produce her textile art pieces and many creative gift items, she also does custom embroidery creating unique articles of clothing, gift items and housewares. She is always accessible to answer a question about any of the art displayed in the gallery or the project she may be working on when you visit.
